Kelly Young

Ms. Young is a Partner and Head of Ares Enterprise Risk Management in the Ares Legal and Compliance Group. Ms. Young is also the Chair of the Enterprise Risk Committee and serves on several risk governance committees. She has over 15 years of financial services experience and leads a global team responsible for managing the enterprise risk framework, including resiliency, counterparty and operational risks across Ares. Ms. Young is a chapter member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and serves on the Executive Committee for GARP Buy Side Risk Managers Forum. Prior to joining Ares in 2003, Ms. Young was an Equity Research Analyst at Wachovia Securities, where she focused on modeling and analyzing companies. Ms. Young currently serves on the Board of Directors of Breathe Southern California, a non-profit with programs focused on air quality and health education. Ms. Young holds a B.S. from Arizona State University in Marketing and International Business.
